The BBC’s Scotland from the Sky series with James Crawford relied on a lot of dramatic sequences. For one story we needed to film James at the top of a beautiful Scots Pine up above the spectacular forest of Glen Affric. Under difficult circumstance Tim of Wild Tree Adventures provided fabulous support. He got James safely to the top of the tree and all the more important back down again. It was a great day’s shoot.

I thought tree climbing was just for kids. Turns out it is one of the most relaxing and rewarding things I’ve done! Tim and his team make this all happen so seamlessly. You climb the ropes at your own pace so you don’t ever feel rushed and before I knew it I was in the canopy. Looking out across lush green landscapes through the leaves and branches all from the comfort of my own hammock was something never to forget. Brilliant fun.

The South of Scotland Golden Eagle Project was delighted to work with Wild Tree Adventures for our ‘Eagle Champions’ partnership with Scouts Scotland. Tim and the team instilled confidence from the outset with their professional and friendly service. Getting an eagle-eyed view 40ft up an old oak tree was an amazing experience the Cubs will not forget!
